Javier Latorre (Barcelona, 1961). Diploma in Sports Law by the Law Society of Barcelona. He has written several articles about Sports Law, particularly in doping and sponsorship. Sub-director of Iusport since 15 February 2006. At the present, he is member of the Department against violence of the Football Association of Catalunya (Spain), First Vice-president of the Club Esportiu Europa, a historic football club, founder of the “Primera Division”, the first tier of the Spanish football.

Chairman of the Legal Services of the Department of Culture and Sports of the Canary Islands Government of between 1984 and 1992, when he was appointed Chief of the Sports Department of the same authority.
