The Ankara Bar Association’s II Assembly in International Sports Law was held on 12nd and 13rd March at the gorgeous facilities of Sheraton Ankara Hotel. This meeting was organised by the Ankara Bar Association’s Sports Law Committee. IUSPORT witnessed the event and is proud to provide you the conclusions that arose from those meetings.

The European Commission has announced its agreement with the principle of a ‘right to bet’ contained within France’s draft online gambling legislation. This could enable sporting organisations to prevent gambling operators from taking bets on sporting events unless they pay for this right. This event will provide an in-depth analysis of the current legal position and how this issue is likely to unfold in the UK and abroad.
